Started with half scales in G major – this is where I play GAB in first position, shift to C on 1, then substitute 4 and go back down to G.   The goal was to continue with the numb hands, using a slow bow and arm weight to get the string speaking.

After that, 2 octave G major, followed by playful G major (use whatever rhythm and repeated notes I feel like doing).   Today’s focus was Kummer #75, which as a number of Chromatic passages to which I need to get accustomed.

I also need to work on my subjectivity – I thought I had been studying for 45 minutes, but in reality it was only 30.   More fun awaits after this break – a little of the Bach Chord work, again with the (mostly) dumb hands.
