The second half of the Sarabande has been the focus of the last couple of days’ practice.   This hasn’t been a good week for the world or our country, and it was hard to get back to playing on Saturday.  However, as I am working on a sorrowful sounding piece, it was less jarring than playing some bright cheery thing.

Right now, I’m still learning the chords for the second half.  I can play some, and the first ones are getting more comfortable.  Understandably,  there’s no sense of line at all until I figure out how my left hand is supposed to work.     Lots of fluidity left to work out, and I am going to miss my cello so much during the week I’m in NC.
