First, since most people are finishing up their Christmas preparations, I’m guessing that reading an amateur’s cello blog is not high on most people’s Christmas lists (unless of course it’s the cello-mas post up at Emily Wright’s blog.). So, I’ll just give you some hints of what is to come in the post-Christmas week.
- Possibly a new cello practice smackdown with new prizes, but mostly the prize is the confidence of knowing you can always find practice time
- My first performance opportunity in front of non-cellist, non-relatives, with Stempie
- Some new exercises about feeling without thinking so much
- Giving music a sense of direction
- and so much more
So, regardless of what you celebrate, I hope you all have a peaceful holiday with loved ones, and that you spread holiday cheer. See you on the 26th.
