Tomorrow would have been my cello lesson, which I arranged to skip for personal reasons.    I’m still playing on with Webster.    Dan told me not to rush my hands, but rather to practice it slow.  Then,work on taking that motion and making it shorter rather than faster.    I worked through the first two bars, then played with open strings for about 15 minutes.

Scale: A minor (melodic), and A major (using the bowing).

Also, walked through the last bar of the first line of the  “trio” section.  I just noticed that I have to go A-D-G string in that order.  That simplified things for me,so I think I’ll get the rhythm now.
