Talked a bit about condensing and relaxing my left hand, especially as I move down (vertically, not in pitch) the fingerboard. Staying with left arm, it was also pointed out that I should supinate my wrist and “scoop” to get my fingers in place for the backward extensions rather than try gymnastics with my fingers.

Also, a new piece – “Witches Dance” from Suzuki Book 2. Sorry this post is so short – it’s really just a placeholder so I can come back.

In terms of music – always take the attitude “yes, I can play that piece” – Usually we’re closer to the goal than we think. Therefore, we should avoid self criticism while practicing, and focus on the progress.
