Some new ideas were tossed out for exploration. Right now, they’re just words. Eventually they form an organizing structure around which new instruction can be laid. The new ideas are “shape” and “color” of music. I’m not sure how these apply to the music vocabulary I have so far. We talked about the sequence of notes in the Bach Minuet “#2” how they “fall” and how I should “fall into them”. Very abstract, yet it does inspire my confidence that my teacher believes I will be able to think at that level.
