I often wonder if I should study extra on the weekends. I’m not sure I’d get that much better results at this stage of my development, and the kids would lose more by not having my time than I would gain.

I wind up practicing about an hour a day on weekends and about 10 minutes of scales for warm-ups, but not too much more. Today, I took a nice nap for no other reason than I wanted one. I’m not sure how much longer I would have that luxury, so I took it.
